About the Firm


Jerry L. Lavespere Jr. was born in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1961. He was raised by his father Jerry L. Lavespere Sr. and mother Betty L. Salley. Growing up Jerry Jr. loved baseball and friends.


1979


Graduating from Pineville HighSchool Jerry Jr. accepted a scholarship in baseball at Northwestern State University (NSU).


1980-1984


Jerry Jr. while at Pineville High School, achieved most valuable player in the state recognition and was named Mr. Baseball of Pineville High School.


Education


Jerry Jr. achieved a bachelors in science from NSU. While attending Southern University School of Law Jerry Jr. achieved a Juris Doctor. Then Passed the July Bar Exam to be admitted to practice in Louisiana.

After being admitted to the Louisiana Bar Jerry, clerked for Judge Mansour at the Ninth Judicial District Court in Alexandria, Louisiana getting familiar with the practice of law. In 1989 Jerry opened up The Lavespere Law office as a sole practitioner.
